    Full (operational): Policy & commitment:

      • Objective: To progressively reduce the environmental footprint of our operations while maintaining high service standards for pilgrims. Initiatives:
      • Maintenance & fuel efficiency: Scheduled vehicle servicing, tyre pressure management and engine tuning to maximize fuel economy.
      • Eco‑driving training: Drivers receive coaching on fuel‑efficient driving techniques (steady speed, gentle acceleration/braking, engine‑off during prolonged stops).
      • Route optimization & trip consolidation: Use route‑planning software and scheduling to reduce empty runs and minimize idling.
      • Digital processes: Encourage electronic invoicing, digital confirmations and paperless communications.
      • Fleet renewal: Plan to replace older vehicles with more fuel‑efficient models and evaluate hybrid/electric options where infrastructure permits.
      • Waste reduction & recycling: Apply waste management practices for vehicle cleaning and onboard supplies.
      • Measurement & reporting: Monitor fuel use (L/km), passenger‑km emissions and set annual reduction targets. Publish key initiatives to customers.
      • Customer engagement: Inform customers about our green practices and provide optional carbon offset choices when available. Daily responsibilities: Drivers and staff should report fuel waste, leaks or other inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
