
Anti Bribery and Corruption
Hijazlane has a zero‑tolerance anti‑bribery policy. All employees and partners must act ethically; confidential reporting channels are available.
Full (operational): Purpose: To prevent, detect and respond to bribery, corruption and conflicts of interest across our operations. Scope: All permanent staff, contractors, consultants, drivers and business partners. Key policy points:
- Absolute prohibition: No employee or representative may give, offer or accept bribes, facilitation payments, kickbacks or improper benefits to influence a business or official decision.
- Gifts & hospitality: Nominal, symbolic gifts (e.g., below RM50) are permitted but must be recorded. Gifts or hospitality above the permitted threshold require prior written approval from the Risk Manager.
- Dealings with public officials: No payments to public officials or agents to obtain an undue advantage. Any request for such payments must be reported immediately.
- Recordkeeping: All payments, commissions and gifts must be transparently recorded and supported by documentation. Periodic audits will be conducted.
- Training & awareness: Regular anti‑corruption training is provided to staff and drivers.
- Whistleblowing & protection: Secure channels (razmansalleh9@gmail.com and internal hotline) are available to report suspected breaches. Good‑faith whistleblowers will be protected from retaliation.
- Disciplinary measures: Breaches may result in disciplinary action up to termination and referral to law enforcement. Customer/partner responsibilities: Do not comply with requests for improper payments from third parties and inform Hijazlane if solicited.
